I. Standar Kompetensi :

12. Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk descriptive dan procedure untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar.

II. Kompetensi Dasar :

12.1 Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional pendek sangat sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat.

Sub Kompetensi :

12.1.1 Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional pendek sangat sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat berbentuk: procedure.

Dengan membaca teks procedure siswa mampu :

12.1.1.1 Mengenal teks sederhana dalam bentuk procedure.

12.1.1.2 Menulis teks pendek dan sederhana dalam bentuk procedure dengan langkah retorika yang benar.

IV. Tujuan Pembelajaran

Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat :

Siswa dapat mengetahui teks sederhana dalam bentuk procedure.

Siswa mampu menulis teks pendek dan sederhana dalam bentuk procedure dengan langkah retorika yang benar.

V. Materi Pembelajaran

Ø Procedure Text is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.

Ø Porpose is to help us do a task or make something. They can be a set of instructions or directions.

Ø Generic Structure of Procedure Text

1. Goal (the final purpose of doing the instructions)

2. Materals (ingredients, utensils, equipment to do the instructions)

3. Steps (a set instructions to achieve the final purpose)

Ø Language Features

1. Using simple present tense

2. Use time connection

3. Use of imperative sentence/command

Teks monolog berbentuk procedure, contohnya:

How to make a sandwich

Materials:

· 2 clices of bread

· Peanut butter

· A banana

· Honey

Steps:

1. Take two slices of bread.

2. Spread peanut butter.

3. Cut up a banana into small slices and put them on one of the slices of bread.

4. Pour some honey over the bananas.

5. Put the other slice of bread on top.

2. Mengecek presensi siswa

3. Memeriksa dan mempersiapkan kondisi kelas

4. Memberitahu tujuan pembelajaran

Kegiatan Inti

1. Review ciri kebahasaan teks procedure

2. Guru menanyakan makanan atau minuman kesukaan siswa.

- What kind drink do you like?

3. Guru menunjukkan gambar kepada siswa

4. Tanya jawab dalam membuat kopi

- Who likes coffee?

- Do you know how to make a cup of coffee?

- What are ingredients?

- What are steps?

5. Guru membagi siswa menjadi 4 kelompok dengan cara berhitung 1-4 dan berulang sampai siswa mendapatkan kelompok.

6. Guru memberikan flash card nama-nama makanan/minuman kepada setiap kelompok.

7. Masing-masing kelompok mendiskusikan nama makanan/minuman berdasarkan flash card yang diberikan.

8. Guru menunjuk salah satu siswa yang dalam setiap kelompok harus menulis dipapan tulis cara membuat makanan/minuman berdasarkan flash card yang mereka dapatkan.

9. Guru membagikan students worksheet dan meminta siswa untuk mengerjakan Task 1 secara individu yaitu siswa diminta untuk melengkapi kalimat yang belum lengkap.

10. Guru meminta siswa untuk mengerjakan Task 2 secara berpasangan yaitu menyusun teks procedure yang acak menjadi urutan yang benar.

Kegiatan Akhir

1. Menanyakan apakah siswa sudah mengerti tentang teks procedure.

2. Meminta siswa mengerjakan Task 3 sebagai pekerjaan rumah.

3. Guru menyimpulkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dipelajari.

Arrange sentences into correct procedure text!

How to Make Oriental Fried rice

Preparation:

1. Cut up meatball and chicken fillet into small pieces.

2. Grind together garlic, pepper, and salt.

3. Breake and stir in one or two eggs.

4. To make oriental fried rice, you will need a plate of rice, meatball, eggs, leeks, chicken fillet, frozen green peas soaked in hot water, garlic, pepper and salt, and a spoonful of oyster sauce.

5. Chop the leeks into small pieces.

How to make it:

1. Then, pour the eggs and green peas.

2. After that, pour the ground garlic, pepper and salt, adds a spoonful of oyster sauce.

3. Put the leeks into the mixture and a plate of rice.

4. First of all, fry the chicken fillet and meatballs. Stir the mixture well.

5. Finnaly, serve the original fried rice on a plate with hot sauce, if you like.
